DV8 Bar and Guesthouse Phnom Penh 

The style of bar that best describes DV8 is hostess. DV8 bar has proven to be a popular addition to Phnom Penh's nightlife.

A hostess bar employs women to talk to and entertain customers by playing games or providing a massage. 

It does not mean the girls are prostitutes, although some of them may entertain customers outside work hours.

The staff of DV8 are all cambodian girls older than 18 and consist of a mixture of waitresses and hostesses. The difference being that most of the hostesses will socialise with customers outside working  hours whereas the waitresses are a bit more reserved and rarely see customers outside work hours.

This does not mean they are any less fun to talk to as most of the waitresses have a very good grasp of English. It does mean however that should they meet you outside the bar they are likely to bring a chaperone.

A Couple of Cambodian girls that work at DV8

DV8 has two bars, the main one is located on the ground floor and the second is located on the next floor. The ground floor bar is the biggest and has a wide range of spirits and apperitifs.  The second features a pool table and balcony and the same great music played downstairs.
